Notes on Prices
1. Price and availability information was correct at the date and time
that they were received from the tour operator's computer system. This
is shown as the 'prices correct as of'. Prices are basic prices. Certain
tour operators could charge additionally for accommodation under occupancy
/ ticket on departure charge / resort transfers / in-flight meals / pre-bookable
seats. Full costing confirmed at the time of booking.
2. Here's what each of the Accommodation Type codes means: S/C - self
catering. For technical reasons not in our control, some holidays marked
as self catering may have accommodation for only part of your stay, the
remainder may be fly drive with hire car. Our call centre will make these
accommodation details clear at time of your call; 1-2* - one or two star
accommodation; 2-3* - two or three star accommodation; 3-4* - three or
four star accommodation; FD - fly/drive package; FO - flight only package.
Please Note: The * rating is not an official tourist rating. It is rated
by individual operators as defined in their brochures, eg: Thomson indicate
them as a 'T' rating on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1'T' as the lowest and
a 5'T' as the highest.
3. Prices are for return trips, per person. Most are based on two people
sharing. Some self-catering prices are based on four or more people sharing.
Supplements for fewer adults sharing may apply, and may vary depending
on the time of year. Any such supplements will be confirmed at the time
of booking.
4. For package holiday bookings within 13 weeks of departure, certain
tour operators (including Airtours, First Choice and Thomson) add a charge
for transfers between destination airport and accommodation. Any such
charges will be confirmed at the time of booking.
5. Certain tour operators add a charge to a late booking or 'ticket on
departure' fee for departure dates close to the time of booking. Any such
charges will be confirmed at the time of booking.
6. Most prices do include the Government Air Passenger Duty tax. If not,
we'll tell you before you confirm your booking.
7. Most prices don't include local entry and departure taxes levied by
non-EU countries such as Kenya, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
8. 'Economy' packages may not include all supplementary charges (for example
airport transfers, flight meals); the customer should contact our Reservation
staff to check whether this is the case and what charges apply..
9. Please note that for technical reasons connected with us providing
you with the widest possible range of options, we're not able to display
the names of specific hotels associated with some holiday packages. This
information and more is available by telephone from our call centre.
10. Certain holidays advertised as S/C (Self Catering) could be a flight
only. Certain holidays to Jamaica listed as R/O (Room Only) could include
accommodation for 1 night only. Our Reservation staff can advise you of
any changes at the time of you booking.
11. Return to alternative airports. Some holidays advertised may have
a return airport different from the airport you departed from. Example:
Outbound: Bristol(BRS) - Tenerife(TFS) Inbound: Tenerife(TFS) - Cardiff
(CWL) .

Holidays booked through holidays.ie are governed by Holiday Express
(UK) Ltd.'s Terms and Conditions. These are as below.
Should you require any clarification of these Terms and Conditions, please
ask a Holiday Express representative at the time of making your booking.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights
as a consumer.
Insurance It is a condition of booking with every tour operator
that you have adequate insurance cover. Such insurance will ensure that
you are properly covered against unexpected cancellation charges, medical
costs that might be incurred while you're away, loss of money, or belongings,
or personal liability claims. Please note that the cover offered by most
credit card companies is not normally adequate for package holiday or
holiday flight bookings.
If you require insurance cover, Holiday Express will be pleased to arrange
it at the time of booking, though you are free to make your own arrangements.
Date Of Cover Clients are covered from the date that the insurance
is paid, normally at time of booking.
Insurance Warranty
1. Prior to and at the time of effecting the insurance if purchased through
Holiday Express you must confirm:
(a) That you are not aware of any reason why the holiday should be cancelled
or curtailed;
(b) That no person to be covered by the insurance policy is receiving
or awaiting treatment as a hospital in-patient;
(c) That no person is travelling against the advice of their doctor or
for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment or where a terminal prognosis
has been given;
(d) That if you or any other member of your party has received treatment
as a hospital in-patient during the twelve months prior to booking
you/they have obtained medical opinion as to the advisability of taking
the holiday;
2. You will advise the company if any of the above arise after taking
this insurance.
Correct Spelling of Names, Titles All names, titles and initials
of those travelling should be correctly given at the time of booking.
Changes cannot be made at a later date without extra charges being incurred.
Please note too, that correct ages are required for insurance cover within
the following bands: (Under 3) (3-18), (Over 65).
Costings All costings are subject to final confirmation as on
the Tour Operator invoice. Errors and omissions are excepted. Children's
discounts are all subject to the correct age of the child being given
as at the last date of the holiday.
Passports All clients must be in possession of a full 10-year
passport. You MUST inform Holiday Express if you are travelling on a
British Subject's Passport. Persons over 16 on day of travel must have
their own passport. On a family passport the lead name must travel. Clients
must check the expiry date on their passport and ensure that it
is valid prior to travelling with at least 6 months left to run on the
return depending on the country you wish to visit.
Visas The following applies to EC passport holders. Visas are
required to be purchased in advance for certain countries, including
Egypt and India. Other countries, including Israel and Turkey require
tourist single entry visas to be purchased on arrival. If you are not
travelling on an EC passport, other rules may apply. Please check with
Holiday Express for advice or contact the embassy of the country you're
travelling to. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate
visas for the destination you intend to visit.
Medical Advice Please ensure that you ask a doctor for any medical
advice applicable to the countries you will visit.
Discounts and Gifts Discounts and gifts only apply if the balance
payment is paid to Holiday Express on or before the date on the Holiday
Express Invoice - Normally 10 weeks prior to departure or for bookings
within 10 weeks of travel full payment at time of booking. If payment
is not received, discounts and gifts will be removed. Balance reminders
are not normally issued.
Operators' Booking Conditions/Fair Trading Terms Ensure that you
have read the booking conditions, which are in your tour Operator's brochure.
Flight Timings All flight timings are provisional and could be
subject to change. You will be11 informed of any major change.
Square Deals - Sun Deals When this type of late holiday is booked,
you should be familiar the Operator's extra conditions.
Credit and Debit Card Payments For all bookings, credit card charges
are as follows: MasterCard or Visa - 2%, American Express/Diners Club
2.5%
There is no charge for debit card transactions
Please note: The lead or booking passenger must
be over the age of 18 to book a holiday.
Cancellations Cancellation must be in writing by lead
name and sent to Holiday Express at 6th Floor Gwent House, Gwent, Wales
NP44 1PL, telephone 01633 798 095 (+44(1)633 798 095 if calling from
outside the UK). When a holiday is cancelled after full payment has been
made, any discount taken must be repaid and claimed back from your insurance
company.
Other Service Charges
Holiday Express will make the following charges in addition to any tour
operator charges.
Amendment: £10 per person for amendments to booking.
Cancellation: £10 per person except when cancellation charge
is 100%, no charge will be made.
Delivery Times and Pricing For bookings made 1 to 14
days before travel, tickets are collected from the departure airport
on the day of travel. For bookings made over 14 days before travel, tickets
will be posted 10 days prior to departure.
Prices The price of delivery of your tickets are included in the
price, except where the tickets are allocated 'Ticket On Departure'.
In this case you will be advised of the charge at time of booking as
the charge varies depending on the tour operator.
Goa The Indian authorities will not permit Indian passport holders
to travel on Charter Flights.
Data Protection Act
Holiday Express is registered under the above act. To progress with any
enquiries we need your Name, Address and Telephone number. This information
is stored and used in accordance with the above act.
